Terms of Service

Last updated: April 27, 2026.

Welcome to nannynet. These Terms govern your access to and use of the nannynet platform, our website, mobile experience, and any related services. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use nannynet

nannynet is a private community for working nannies, newborn care specialists, household managers, and family assistants. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may not create an account on behalf of an agency, recruiter, or family without our express written authorization.

2. Your account

You are responsible for all activity on your account, the accuracy of the information you provide, and the security of your login credentials. We use phone- or email-based one-time codes; please don’t share them.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, including respect for member privacy, employer confidentiality, anti-discrimination, and anti-harassment standards. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Content you post

You retain ownership of the content you post. You grant nannynet a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your content within the nannynet platform for the purpose of operating the service.

5. Job leads and the referral board

nannynet is not an employment agency, placement service, or staffing firm. The referral board is a peer-shared community feature. nannynet does not vet, employ, or place caregivers, and is not party to any working relationship between members and families. See our Placement Disclaimer.

6. Verification badges

Verified badges reflect specific checks completed at a moment in time. They are not endorsements, background checks, or guarantees. Read the Verification Policy for details.

7. Termination

You can deactivate your account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Guidelines, or applicable law.

8. Disclaimers

nannynet is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, nannynet’s aggregate liability arising from or related to your use of the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, except where prohibited.

11. Changes

We’ll let you know when we update these Terms in a way that meaningfully affects your rights. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
