Job posting policy

nannynet’s referral board is a peer feature, not a marketplace. These rules keep it useful and lawful.

Who can post

• Verified members in good standing.
• Posts are limited to roles a member is leaving (a referral) or has firsthand knowledge of (heard-about).
• Family-direct postings are not allowed at MVP. We may pilot a paid, gated family channel later.

Required fields

• Role type and schedule.
• Location at neighborhood level (no precise addresses).
• Hourly or annual rate range, single-number or hidden rates are not allowed.
• Clear requirements (experience, certifications, languages).

Prohibited

• Rates below the applicable state, county, or city minimum wage.
• Discrimination on race, color, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, marital status, or any other protected characteristic.
• Requests for unpaid trial days, unpaid travel, or off-the-books arrangements that violate tax or labor law.
• Placement fees collected through nannynet.
• Identifying details about families or children.

Enforcement

Posts violating these rules are removed. Repeat violations may result in losing job-board privileges or removal from the community.
