- Account data: email or phone, role, city, name, photo.
- Profile data: bio, specialties, languages, certifications, availability.
- Application data: the answers you submit on your application (full name, age confirmation, location, years of experience, role, why you’re joining, and optional social links and reference). Used solely to review and approve membership.
- Content: posts, comments, reactions, messages, RSVPs.
- Device data: IP, device type, browser, used for security and analytics.
- Cookies: session and preference cookies, plus privacy-friendly product analytics.
How we use it
- To run the service and personalize your feed and recommendations.
- To review applications and protect community trust.
- To moderate content and respond to reports.
- To communicate (transactional and, with your permission, occasional updates).
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t share your activity with families or employers.
- We don’t allow Google to index member profiles by default.
Anonymous posts
Anonymous posts are anonymous to other members. Our trust & safety team retains the ability to view the original author’s identity for safety and moderation purposes only, and every such access is logged.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time in Settings. California, Florida, and other state residents have additional rights under applicable law (CCPA/CPRA, Florida Digital Bill of Rights). Contact support@nannynet.net to exercise them.
Children
the nannynet is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children. The service is not intended for or directed to children.
Retention
We retain account and content data while your account is active. Verification records have a defined retention window per the Verification Policy.
International users
nannynet operates from the United States. By using the service from outside the US, you consent to the transfer and processing of data in the US.
